Dan Fischer (b. Brooklyn, N.Y., USA, 1977) graduated with a BA in Fine Art from the School of Art and Design, Alfred University (1999). His work has been included in many museum exhibitions internationally, including UBS Young Art, g27, Zurich (2007); Two Years, Whitney Museum of American Art, NY (2008); Matisse and Beyond: Selections from the permanent collection, San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, San Francisco, CA (2008); and Picturing the Studio, School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Chicago, IL (2009). In 2006, Fischer was the North American recipient of the UBS Art Scholarship. He lives and works in New York, USA.
