Klara Kristalova (b. Prague, Czech Republic, 1967) studied at the Kungliga Konsthögskolan, Stockholm, Sweden. Her work has been exhibited in solo shows throughout Europe and North America, including the Gothenburg Museum of Art, Gothenburg (2012); New Work Series, with Tiago Carneiro da Cunha, San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, San Francisco (2011); Where the Owls Spend Their Days, Alison Jacques Gallery, London (2009); and has a forthcoming solo show at Västerås Art Museum, Västerås, Sweden.
Group exhibitions include Klara Kristalova and Peter Ern, Galleri Rostrum, Malmo (2012); The Magic of Clay, Gl Holtegaard, Copenhagen (2011); and Larger Than Life, Stranger Than Fiction, Kulturamt der Stadt Fellbach, Fellbach (2010).
Kristalova's work is featured in several public collections throughout Sweden including theModerna Museet, Stockholm and is also part of the Zabludowicz Collection, London.
The artist lives and works in Norrtälje, Sweden
