Painting Can Change the World is a 7 year old child's dream charitable initiative to fundraise through creativity and make a difference whilst having fun along the way...
On Wednesday 12 September 2018, over 100 paintings made by school children between 4 and 11 years old will be exhibited at Alison Jacques Gallery and sold to raise money for the UK children's charity Magic Breakfast.
Three renowned London-based artists Sir Peter Blake, Joseph Kosuth and Gavin Turk will select the most promising paintings in various categories with one work chosen to be on the official Painting Can Change the World charity t-shirt.
Over the course of the evening the artworks will be available to purchase with 100% of proceeds going to Magic Breakfast. This organisation ensures that no child is too hungry to learn and works with over 470 schools so that more than 31,500 children each year start their school day fully fuelled and in the best possible way.
Children and adults are welcome. Ice cream and refreshments provided.
The exhibition continues Thursday 13 to Saturday 15 September: 11AM - 6PM.
Bidding closes at 6pm on Saturday.
