Alison Jacques Gallery is pleased to announce that Thomas Zipp (b. Heppenheim, Germany, 1966) has opened a solo exhibition titled A Primer of Higher Space (The Family of Man revisited) at the Kunsthalle Giessen, Giessen, Germany.
The work of the Berlin-based artist Thomas Zipp is characterized by the confrontation with the contradictions of modern subjectivity. In his expansive installations, he questions the relationship between the individual and the masses, the ego and the collective. By deconstructing conventional value systems and science models, Zipp creates space for new questions.
The exhibition will be on show from 31 August to 18 November 2018.
