Exhibition Talk: Professor Andrew Renton on Roy Oxlade, Alison Jacques Gallery

26 November 2019

Join Andrew Renton, Professor of Curating at Goldsmiths, University of London, for an introduction to the exhibition Roy Oxlade, on view at Alison Jacques Gallery until 11 January 2020.

Renton will offer insights into the paintings and drawings produced by the British painter throughout his six-decade career, which were rooted by Oxlade's experiences of the physical world around him. Oxlade’s commitment to his creative process, which was fueled by instinct, spontaneity and immediacy, will also be explored in this talk.
